Letters

There can be good letters, and there can be bad letters...
This morning, as i was reading the paper, my roommate comes along and passes me the mail that was in our lil mail box. I got 3 letters! Wah, so excited and happy....! Seriously, those who are away from home would agree there's such a YAY feeling that comes from getting letters. (Suria didnt get, so she jealous...)

However, Suria did come back with some bad news...

BAH!
Few weeks ago we got saman, and the thing is i wasn't in Penang when the incident happened. So obviously it could only be one other person la, but they saman both nontheless...I wrote my objection letter giving my reasoning, but it was rejected!

Dear Friend,
Please check the photo at the office. There is really, and truly something hanging from the window. Perhaps the item belongs to your roomate. Ask your roomate to write letter if the item does not belong to you.
*Fine still imposed unless roommate admits its hers*

This is the 3rd or 4th saman our room has recieved...

Its terrible, every other day a dude on motorbike goes around and snaps photos...So they've got actual proof.

And the recent incident, it wasnt even clothes. Suria had hung some TINY cloth to dry- so small you cant even make it out in the picture, but even that they dont give chance. Cows...

Its unfair cause sometimes u just want ur face towel to dry fast, so obviously the window it the best spot...Cilaka

typical malaysian attitude. i was always p***ed at how the MPPJ would always find time and manpower to dilligently go and place summons (even in the rain! they'd put the summons in a plastic covering! so hard working-eh?) on the cars parked near my office at phileo damansara.

the thing is that these poor fellas prolly cant afford the exhorbitant parking rates at phileo - and they are not blocking traffic at all nor parked at private places. and there are no "no parking" signs there too. so wat gives?

at the same time, so many signs and bus stops and pavement in PJ are run down.

sigh...
