Earlier on was the Farewell Night for those in PKA who will be graduating this year. In less than a month they will pack up all their things, and leave USM.
The fact that its time again for this annual night reminds me that a year has gone by. A year ago around this time I was the one wrapping up my life in Penang.
This years organising committee graciously invited the senior batches to come, but unfortunately we seniors in KL couldnt make it.
So we decided to send our message to them in another way...
I'm glad we did it, as rushed as it was.
We 5+1 had a blast and here's the stuff that didn't make it to the final product...

Drafts
For the longest time, I have had a number of Drafts kept in my gmail.
These Drafts were replies I never completed, some were new emails I had never finished.
37 Drafts since 2006.
37 different things that I never got round to saying.
Some trivial, some emotional.
I don't know why I held on to them.
Then again, thats me. If I am upset - I write. I let it out on paper(screen) what I would wish to say, then I don't send it. I have letters I wrote, but never got posted.
They are all gone now.
At least, the ones that can be deleted are.

Jason Mraz Concert
Was a lot of fun.
Was crazy hot in the stadium - no air con, so sweat like mad.
Was entertained - People sitting up there, do you feel - Elevated? Do you feel - celebrated? People of the globe, do you feel - rotated?
Was disappointed with the duet choice for Lucky - Tami? Pami? Pani? She came on stage late, don't ask me how its possible, and she sucked.
Was amused with the girl next to me cause she was young, going nuts and was screaming "Jason, I LOVE YOU", but annoyed with her because she didnt tie her long hair and it was grossly sticking to my sweaty arm.
Was cute that the horn section wore Malaysian football jersey and had dance moves - lean front, sway left, sway right, lean back and repeat.
Was impressed with his moves and vocals.
Was not impressed when the concert ended within 1 1/2 hours.
