I dont surf Friendster like i know SOME people do, but it occasionally helps me keep up-to-date la..Mainly in the Romance Dept. of who's got a new love interest. Realise now, the power of Friendster, and how some people take it seriously. And i know that any of my friends with new bf/gf's will upload pictures and will be featured as Primary Photo. =p
The other day i noticed in the Friend Updates box, Mel put a new picture of her and some guy kissing her cheek. And i was shocked, cause the guy in the pic looked like an ex-schoolmate, so i immediately sms'd Joshua for confirmation (since he is Mel's close friend) and it turned out even he didnt know about it... See la- how terrible we've become. Announcing important events via blogs and Friendster. *pui!*
So as i scrolled down i noticed something my eyes usually dont waste time on, and found it kinda hmmmm...sure or not?
Are those really top searches? So i keyed in something random, i found out its powered by Yahoo! search and Eurekster. (irrelevant info) So, this is what Friendster addicts search for when they're not spying on their friends or secretly checking up on their ex's using the "view profiles anonymously" function. I say addicts, cause any sane person would use Google. (Did you kno the google colours? Blue-Red-Yellow-Blue-Green-Red) Am i wrong? Seriously, i've never used friendster to search for anything other than friends. =/
And these are the so-called Top 10 Searches?
Halloween masks i can accept, but the rest...
No way.... Suddenly everyone broke their clocks and need to search online (through Friendster, not ebay mind you) to get a new one isit? Sure.
I'm trying to think who of my friends would be the culprits behind looking up these 'interesting' things:
1. Auntie Mildred - cause she own's arts and crafts
2. Cant - too mean,as topic boring, suggests boring person.Weng Soon?Haha..
3. Gareth - cause i think Canada i think Gareth, and Colin from Who's Line.
4. Jon - cause he gets backaches
5. *Cant really think of anyone*
6. Suria - cause her laptop forever has viruses
7. Teik Shin - cause he goes once or twice a month
8. Everyone - cause they're too bloody lazy to send snail mail
9. Mun Onn - cause i finally saw his you-tube dancing
10.Li Yee - cause she's always enthusiastic bout this kinda thing
Wonder what the next Top 10 Searches (konon) will be.
