Idiot Box

Hokay...So i've been home alot. And the t.v has been my best fren.....And this is what i've been watching:






1. Laguna Beach - MTV
It's like, so totally awesome! Imagine watching, like, super rich, thin mostly blonde girls tan themselves, and like, talk about clothes, boys and fall for super jerky rich guys...Its like, so cool! You'll definately lose some brain cells watching this...

2. National Treasure - bad quality DVD
Snot bad show la- came out as one of the earlier movies to use all the legends of the Knights Templar la, secrets la, ancient churches hiding treasure deep underground la etc etc. Lost points for the stupid romance the director just had to include.

3. The Bold and the Beautiful- Star World
Firstly, i am not a fan of this. Really! Its got the dumbest storyline, and the characters are all somehow the bro/sis/mom/dad/uncle of each other, sleep around like mad, the acting is horrible and yet- its been around since 1987...(seriously!) 19years...That has got to mean something.

4. My Own- MTV
Another show to either point out the urgh-ness of Americans, or a platform for viewers to become their own Simon Cowell. Contestants try to act, sing, dance like a certain celeb for a so-called biggest fan that because cant get the real thing, settles for the "next best thing", My Own: Jessica Simpson, Omarion, Kelly Clarkson...etc. Darn funny!

5. Sister Act 2 - Star Movies
Tis only worth watching for the singing scenes, not much else. So between scenes, channel surf all you want, just dont miss the ever famous part where the young guy does the glass shattering "..when Jesus waaaaaaaaaaa-aaaaaaashed...."

6. About a Boy - dvd
I like this movie alot. Maybe because its not American...The two most unlikely characters meet when Hugh Grant tries to go after sexy single mothers, but ends up befriending a un-cool, un-hip 12year old that sings aloud without realising it. Its starts with him saying how he disagrees with the saying that "No man is an island", and he is a bloody island but ends up changing his tune by the end of the movie. Good watch!

7. Love Actually- dvd
This time i caught it on tv, and i didnt realise till the end, but they've totally cut out ALL the scenes about the romance between the 2 stand in actors...Ish ish! If you've not watched it- i'll say it for the millionth time :
Go Watch it!

8. Scary Movie 4- dvd
Dont bother. Seriously, just dont. I was so bored and since my bro had the dvd i thought, okay- why not? I didnt get past the 1/2 marker even. Its SO not funny. I fell asleep watching it. If anyone reads this, and still chooses to watch it....I dunno what to say...

Being stuck at home sucks when there's nothing good on t.v.
