Movie Mania

The amount of movies i've been watching this week is scandalous...
So here's my opinion on them.

1. Stomp The Yard

- Definitely worth watching. I watched it TWICE. Once was with Chris, where i was more focused on the dancing, and the second time with YY where i was focused on the guys that were dancing. *grin* Trust me though, you'll leave the cinema wanting to go dancing and wishing you could do the stuff that they can do.

2. The Reaping

-Okay only ler...To me its a Wednesday movie. The whole idea of using biblical events as a plot is kinda old, but i guess they did a good job with the 10 plagues. I didn't like the movie though.

3. Mr Bean's Holiday

- This show has to be watched just for old times sake. I enjoyed it. Some say its boring, but hey- remember, it's BEAN and he dont talk much. I like it cause its a simple movie, one for the whole family and well, its Mr Bean. I didn't quite like the ending though, but oh well. Loved the scenery and the colours in the film.

4. Cinta

- This was a shocker. It actually was out in cinema's last year, but i only just got round to watching it. I assumed it would be pretty much like Love Actually, boy was i wrong. Its got the same kinda thing going on, love is the main theme and the lives of the characters have some slight connection, but the stories and focus is totally different. Though i wasn't too pleased with some of the acting, i was super impressed with the cinematography. To the point where i almost forgot it was a Malaysian film.

If you can get your hands on this movie, watch it! Alone, cause...It might stir up some emotions that you'd not be able to express if in the presence of others. (As in, guys- you might feel the urge to cry, but wont cause you wanna control macho....)

Good stuff. I recommend you watch Meet The Robinsons. It's a really cool movie. The effects are fantastic, but the storyline is as well.

I was actually supposed to watch Bridge to Terabithia with a friend. But when we got to Gurney Plaza, the screening time did not fit into our schedule. So, we decided on Mr Bean's Holiday.

That didn't work out either. When it got to our turn at the ticket counter, the lady said the tickets were sold out.

It was then we settled on Meet The Robinsons, which, with all due respect, I didn't expect to be so good.

Go watch it. It's a great movie, for families as well as everyone else.
