I went back for more.
Chris and i got hooked on it, and felt so unsatisfied that we dieded so soon. After walking around BJ a while to make sure our decision wasn't purely impulsive, we had to go back and meet Mr. Boss who was about to unleash a nuclear satelite that would destroy earth!

So of course we had to do something about it.
I'm not sure what was so alluring.. We got so caught up in the game we yelped when hit and exclaimed triumphantly whenever we made it past a level.
I really like the machine, cause need to use hand, eye and foot coordination, stepping the pedal on the floor to reload ammo and duck. My finger got super tired after a while though, shooting is not easy man...I was Blue, not the dumb blonde...That was Chris.
The baddies are so annoying and yet kinda lovable. Its not all blood and gore (i'm not into that) and they just kinda fall back stunned, quite cute. Some had better guns than others and would knock my Life down from 7 to 4... terrible.
We spent about RM7 each (maybe 8) but it was worth it cause
We FINISHED it.... Muahahahahaha!
We beat the baddie. Rescued the damsel in distress. And saved the world.
Not only that, in the list of top players who've won it, we ranked 7th. Syiok!
Satisfaction.
Mini Review: The movie Stay Alive is not bad. Lame storyline about gamers who play a computer game that sorta gets messed up with reality and people start dying. Acting aint that wonderful, and the script is seriously quite shallow, but for a B-grade scary flick, its worth the RM6. Its really not bad. And actually, there was room for the plot to be further developed and improved. Only reason why we watched it was cause Pirates was RM10, even on WEdnesday...Oh- only 4 of us in the cinema, which made it even creepier...Kept imagining something suddenly appearing behind me so i'd look back every once in a while... =p
Ps: Sam, your One Tree Hill girl also acts in it...

man...i spend a grand total of RM22.50 (cuz it's 3 tokens per credit, so we chunk in RM1.50 everytime we died) on House of the Dead 3 machine in gurney @.@ (together with another dumb-frend who spend the equal amount of money with me)
but getting to 1st n 2nd rank n beating the game with the fastest time...it pays off :) (but quite some time ago, i went to check our names n we dropped to 5th n 6th placing :( but still we're the fastest =D)
we're yet to finish House of the Dead 4 =D haha!
come on now shel, we go tonight! or sth..let's arcade...you're making my hands go itchy witchy!! hahaa....

I tell you,Gurney Plaza is cheating wan... I went with Mr Kati to play and the TC2 there only gives you 5 lives, but Bukit Jambul gives you about 8 lives!!!

when me n my fren won HOTD3, i got 2nd place n my fren got 1st place cuz in the last boss section, i died n then my fren gained a few more points during the duration when i'm buzy chucking in 3 tokens :P
now i think we got kicked down to 5th 6th or 7th placing d =P

go get the dvd of them live from edwin and watch lee perform wif them.
