Angin Barat Daya/ TImur Laut

Five days of not going online...Itchy fingers edi, so i'm now sitting in the cybercafe again. Its called AngelNet (i think its a strange name for a cc, dont you... *shrug*)
I shouldn't even be here, i should be in bed sleeping by now since i've gotta get up at 7.30am... (dang!) I've gotta go n try to re-apply to get an English paper i wanna sit for this semester. Hope i get it *fingers crossed!*

Back to why i am here at this hour...I had to put these pictures up. Since coming back to Penang -last Friday- the weather here has been so unpredictable.

Freakin hot - pouring rain- pouring rain- freaking hot.
Anyone know (without google-ing it) which monsoon season is it supposed to be now anyway?

I tell you, sedih sangat. World Cup finals i was supposed to go down to Khaleel to watch it, since its the only place within walking distance i can go to. I slept first, and when i got my wake-up call at 1 something, it was pouring down... pouring! So, i did the only thing i could- went back to sleep. =p
Wasn't very keen on it anyway, didnt really like either team much so didnt care who won.
I remember back in WC2002, me and Sue-Ann were walking around 1-Utama during the finals, looking for a place to go watch it... We ended up not watching cause we weren't interested either...
We'll see how the next W.C finals go.

Where was i...............Oh yeah.
Crazy weather. Today, it was SO lovely and windy. I just stood like Jet Li did with my arms outstretched and my eyes closed, letting the wind flow through my body (err..) *ohhmmmmm*
Bliss.

A bit later on i walked with a clown up to Pusat Bahasa and this came into view:

whoa!

Firsts thoughts : Awwww....Poor tree...Such a huge, beautiful thing gone. Been around since Colin and Annette's time... =(

Until we got nearer and saw this:

*Gasp!*

Totally penyek, like something you see in the movies...

Four cars in total- Kelisa,Waja, Wira and Iswara.

These were cars parked outside the uni bank, so most probably outsides that came in to do their banking stuff... I guess not so many will be coming once they hear about this...

But overall, although all the cars got it bad- i think the Kelisa is the most kesian of all, took the brunt of the tree ...

*R.I.P*

(i purposely didn't take at an angle that shows the number plate in case anyone actually plays 4D)

Ok, time for beddy byes... After my grueling walk up the hill that is...
*Huff puff*

Well, its evil to laugh IF people were hurt...This was just metal and rubber... =p

AND it came out in the papers today that the car owners were compensated by USM, so thats a good thing.

Few years back, when my bro was driving in UPM, it was raining, and a tree branch fell on the front hood of the car. It totally was bent in, and so wanted to claim insurance. However, we were denied it because it was an "act of God" and we weren't covered fr such things...
Wat the Heck?!?
But i'm serious.
Hurmph... Act of god...
