Bad Day(s)

How is it there are days where everyhing is just total, pure cow manure.

It reminds me of this storybook i read when i was a kid, What Kathy Did.

Kathy had a bad day, starting with going to school late, and getting into trouble...etc. So she went home, and cried to her dad, and her dad asked her to backtrack and see what went wrong there...Turns out she was late because she hadn't sewn her bonnet strings that she was supposed to do the week before. Then her dad told her this, and its stuck with me amazingly :

For the want of a nail, the shoe was lost
For the want of a shoe, a horse was lost
For the want of a horse, a rider was lost
Fot the want of a rider, the battle was lost
For the want of the battle, the war was lost
For the want of the war, the kingdom was lost
All for the want of a horse shoe nail.

But it doesn't apply to everything, and sometimes the world is just against you.
To the extent you're desperate enough to wonder if God hates you.
How Daniel Powter manages to make his version of Bad Day sound so jolly, i dont know.

Sue Ann, i cant imagine you getting them all the time, i'd die...But at least your one person that knows what i mean.

Love is not patient, love is not kind. Love blows up and says the wrong things. Love hurts people. Love forgets things.

And all that's left is Love.

*shrugs*

Cheer myself up with a happy picture...
